In order to communicate effectively and unify our ward the ward council has asked us to use GroupMe for our quorum communication. 

It's an app you get on your phone and you can also access it from your computer or iPad. It allows for communication similar to texting and it allows you to join and leave different groups. Those of you with youth have probably already been invited to some groups. We have created a group for the elders quorum. We ask that all of you join it and we'll be sending communication out through it. 

The benefit is that you can mute a specific group if you don't want to get notifications for it. Or you can leave a group if you need to for any reason. It is also a more immediate form of communication than email allowing for us to ask for help when there is an urgent need.
